PE管材施工安装注意事项

一、管槽开挖

PE管的管槽宜直线开挖，沟底开挖宽度为DN0.30m。管道地下连接时，接口处的槽底宽度应适当增加，管道的槽底宽度不应小于DN0.50m，以便安装和对接。

管道顶部的覆盖深度应满足以下要求：

(1) 埋在巷道下，不应小于0.80米。

(2) 埋在人行道下，不应小于0.60米。

当穿越巷道达不到设计深度时，应铺设钢套管进行保护。

管道沟槽需要转弯时，转弯角度不宜过大，弯曲半径应符合以下要求：PE管路的允许弯曲半径为D/30（毫米）至D/10（毫米）。

人工开挖管沟时，要求沟底光滑密实，无尖锐物。沟底可能有起伏，但管道需要支撑平稳。如有凹陷，要回填夯实。

二、Pipe Fitting Connection

PE pipe adopts hot melt connection and electric fusion connection, including hot melt socket connection and hot melt butt welding, as well as electric fusion socket connection and electric fusion saddle welding.

1., prepare materials: Place the pipes or fittings on the platform and clamping device, leaving a cutting allowance of 10-20 millimeters.

2., tighten: Use appropriate sliding clamps to secure the pipes for preparation for cutting.

3., cut off: Remove impurities and oxidation layers from both ends of the pipe segments to be connected.

4., align: Ensure that two adjacent pipe segments are aligned accurately with minimal gap between them, not exceeding 10% of wall thickness.

5., heat up: The heating temperature is generally between 210-230°C in winter and summer seasons; preheat both sides until they reach a length of about 1-2mm after removing the heating plate.

6., switch over: Remove the heating plate while ensuring proper contact between heated ends; apply pressure gradually during cooling process to ensure high-quality connections.

7.. Apply pressure during cooling process under controlled conditions until cooled completely; check hand's numbness at edges without excessive heat generation after cooling down fully.

8.. Release pressure once cooled thoroughly; remove clamps from connecting parts before moving on to next connections.

三、Installation Construction

1.. Before installing PE pipes, inspect trenches for compliance with installation requirements; examine pipes for signs of deformation, cracks, wear or scratches prior to use if any defects found replace immediately;

2.. Construct concrete bridges above bends, tees elbows & reducers using C20 concrete mixtures when necessary;

3.. Use steel-plastic transition fittings or flange connectors when connecting metal tubes valves & other components with PE pipes;

4.. Install vent valves at upward inclines or slopes along pipelines to reduce gas-water mixed pressures impacting pipeline integrity;
